What's on at RSBC?

Our main weekly service is held at 10.30am on Sunday morning.  In addition to our morning service we also have an evening service on the 1st Sunday of each month at 6.30pm

Communion is shared at least once a month during our morning services and always on a Sunday evening, which is usually a quieter, more reflective service.

Sunday mornings include parent controlled creche facilities and a Sunday School which we call 'Sunday Club'. The Sonbeams group joins us for the first part of our service and then go off to their own activities, except when we have an 'all age' service, which incorporates the whole congregation.  Because most of our teenage group have now left for university we don't currently have a morning group for teenagers.  However, this situation may change as and when more young people join us or as our younger group gets older!  This is exactly what happened a few years ago when our younger group evolved into our teenage group and we had up to a dozen young people attending on a Sunday morning.

What else is on?

Tuesday mornings the church room is used by 'Radford Rascals' - a Mums & Toddlers group.  Please email the church for contact details of this group.

Tuesday evenings we have our weekly Prayer Group which we call 'Time for God'  7.15pm - 8.30pm.   If you are unable to attend but would like prayer for a specific issue, please let us know.

Alternate Wednesday afternoons we have Women's Fellowship, which begins at 2.30pm and is held in our Church Room.  See the 'Church Diary' page for details.

Our Home Group meets alternate Thursdays in different member's homes - venue announced in church. 7.45pm-9.15pm

Open Church - each Friday morning (10.00-12.00) the church is opened for coffee, tea, cakes etc.  Pop in for a chat, read a newspaper, have a game of Scrabble or maybe try your hand at computing, if you have never tried one before! Our minister, Katherine, is usually available if you need any help or advice.

Other events are organised on a one-off basis and quite often we will join with other local churches for special services or concerts etc.
